To my Foxes’ Family,
I wanted to thank you all for the lovely gifts given to me on my retirement from an active role in Foxes - for those of you who may be unaware these were a beautiful, silver pendant with a fox’s head on, a plaque commemorating my time with Foxes, and a Thankyou box consisting of some touching tributes to my time at Foxes as a Club coach/Player (yes, I even turned out when we were short of players in our early years)/Club Secretary and latterly Little League Chair and Organiser. These gifts bought a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. I know that many ex-members contributed to this Thankyou box and I do hope my thank you message will be relayed to you too.
A collection has also been made for me, I understand, which I am overwhelmed by, and I will be looking to use this, with the Committee’s help, to the greater benefit of the Club. Thank you for this also.
I have taken immense enjoyment in holding the roles I have had, and to have helped build this club from its small beginnings into the family it is today. If I have managed to give you an enjoyment of the game, provided you friends for life, given you new life skills or improved you as a netball player then that will have given me great delight.
Foxes will always be in my heart
Once a Fox always a Fox
My love to you all,
Angie x
